Our client, a leading FMCG and beverage company in Saudi Arabia, is looking for a Chemist to join its Quality team in Madinah.

The role is responsible for performing chemical, microbiological, and physical analysis on raw materials and finished products in line with quality standards and QMS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform chemical, microbiological, and physical analysis of incoming raw materials and finished products.
• Test materials including raw water, plastic resin, colorants, and other sensitive materials according to QMS specifications.
• Ensure implementation and compliance with the Quality Management System plan.
• Support the Quality Head with test results and data required for product release.
• Train operators and technicians on basic analyses and testing procedures when required.
• Prepare and maintain laboratory reports, records, and related documentation.
• Prepare receiving inspection reports according to approved specifications.
• Report abnormalities and quality deviations and support immediate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and ensure testing is completed according to required standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Knowledge of chemical, microbiological, and physical testing methods.
• Good understanding of quality control and QMS requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant computer applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a laboratory and manufacturing environment.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in food and beverage, FMCG, manufacturing, laboratory testing, quality control, or water production environments will be highly considered.
