Our client, a leading FMCG and beverage company in Saudi Arabia, is looking for a Microbiologist to join its Quality team in Madinah.

The role is responsible for microbiological quality control testing of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products, purified water, and environmental monitoring in line with approved procedures and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document microbiological testing on raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products, and purified water.
• Prepare standards, solutions, reagents, media, and samples required for laboratory analysis.
• Record test observations accurately and review results before material release.
• Support release inspection activities in the material management system.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and perform basic troubleshooting when needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities using lean principles to improve laboratory efficiency.
• Prepare laboratory reports, receiving inspection reports, and related documentation.
• Report quality deviations and abnormalities and support immediate corrective actions.
• Support environmental monitoring activities.
• Follow all safety, health, and environmental procedures while working in the laboratory.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or a related field.
• More than 1 year of experience in microbiology, laboratory testing, or quality control.
• Good knowledge of microbiological testing methods and laboratory procedures.
• Good English and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant computer applications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Profile

Candidates with experience in FMCG, food and beverage, water production, manufacturing, laboratory testing, microbiology, or quality control environments will be highly considered.
